Lemongrass

Today Homer Laughlin announced the newest Fiesta color, Lemongrass. It is not expected to be available until November, 2009. The color is said to be a more yellow shade of chartreuse. Which would be very nice since Chartreuse is my favorite Fiesta color!

HOW ABOUT A LIGHT AQUA OR PASTEL PINK? I WOULD EVEN LIKE A BRIGHT PINK. I DO THINK I'LL LIKE THE NEW COLOR.

But we have had both colors similar to those in light aqua (periwinkle, turquoise and sort of peacock) and pastel pink (rose).  Turquoise and peacock are still available, but periwinkle and rose are both discontinued.  Actually, most of the pastels have been discontinued for a while now.  Eventually the pastels will come back into fashion and HLC will start producing more pastel-like colors.  I do hope the next color is a bright pink color.  That is one color they haven't done yet.

Bright Fuscia pink, not mauve, rose, BRIGHT, Fuscia, Bubble-Gum Pink. Someone on facebbok mentioned a salmon color, that'd be cool, but a bright salmon.

I totally agree...the new color needs to be BRIGHT...VERY BRIGHT!!!  As to what shade it ends up being, I will just be happy as long as it is SUPER BRIGHT!!!  I know HLC had many problems coming out with a true Red, but they finally figured out how to make Scarlet and it is beautiful.  They have the same problems with bright pinks, without being able to use lead, they are limited on the colors they can make.  So hopefully they can make it sometime soon.  As for Salmon, it would have to be very bright.  Otherwise, I think it would look more like Apricot which I have heard compared to the colors of human flesh or band-aids.  Not the most appealing color.
