I updated this picture so not to offend any Thomas the Train enthusiasts out there in my readership of 6. Click on the picture to see the original picture.
It's too bad the creaters had to ruin the good name of Thomas the Tank Engine like that! Couldn't they have found something from Fisher-Price?
Thomas was like a fifth member of our family for several years. My son had a TTE shirt that he wore until it was nearly shredded. In fact, when I needed to buy another shirt, I couldn't find one locally. I ended up having to order it from a store in San Diego.
We also still have all the wooden trains, track, and buildings. All of it from the pre-lead era.
I updated the picture. I didn't make the original, but I will say in defense of whoever did make it, I looked through every page of images at google.com when I searched for "toy train wreck". Thomas the train was the only pictures that came up in the 50 pages.
The new picture while more child like, doesn't have the train wreck mentality of the original.
LOL!!! Craig, you really didn't have to placate me like that. It was just a little disheartening to see Thomas being unfavorably compared to Sarah Palin.
I don't remember which blog I saw this on first (I have seen it on a few so far) but a few people there complained about Thomas being used for Palin.
I myself am a bit too old for Thomas (only by a few years though) :P But I thought I would try to spare Thomas a lifetime of ridicule for being compared to a lipstick wearing pitbull.
